Thanks to everyone who participated!
We have installed the culvert at the south end of the Rasmussen’s section of road. It should divert a large amount of the water that has been collecting on the road. Jeremy Witt, Rick Taylor, Mike Couch and Chris Rasmussen brought equipment and spent the morning trenching and laying the culvert.
Lisa Mueller and Teresa Wright flagged traffic to try and keep things moving smoothly. Thank you to all for your patience and especially to those who donated to support the road work! Morgan Rasmussen and Diana Couch assisted with general tasks as they came up. And afterward, Doug and Kristi Crossman fed us all burgers and chips as we sat around a bonfire to recover!
We also had some welcome neighbors come to join us! Community participation is always encouraged. It’s our road — it’s great when we work together.
The next step is to purchase gravel and road mix to lay over the road and fill potholes and ruts. Keep an eye out for announcements on when that will happen.
