At our last board meeting we voted Joakim (Joe) Sandor in as Vice President. He has experience on other non-profit boards, including the Eagles.
The Board currently consists of Darla Joyner (President), Joe Sandor (VP), Lisa Mueller (Secretary/Treasurer), Jesse Munch and Julia Hall.
Now that we are assured of being legally allowed to continue, we are resuming work on the road and obtaining corporate donations. Joe has equipment that he has already put to use and has done neighborhood outreach to others with equipment.
We hope to start scraping and reapplying gravel in July/August.
The road is not perfect, but it is much better than it has been in the past without regular maintenance efforts. If you have any suggestions for future work, please consider coming to a board meeting. We have changed the meeting time to Tuesday evening at 6PM. The next meeting will be on July 30th at Lisa Mueller’s house (12301 Crystal Mountain Road). Meetings are also posted in the schedule on the website: cmrproject.org.
