The CMR Project Board announces with great sadness that Doug and Kristi Crossman and Mike and Diana Couch are leaving the area. We are very grateful to them for all the effort they have expended on behalf of Crystal Mountain Road.
Doug and Kristi were very involved in fundraising and volunteer labor since the beginning of CMR Project. They kept the meetings upbeat. We will miss them.
Mike and Diana Couch were executives on the board since the beginning. They provided their home for meetings. Mike has been the main force behind all road maintenance and repair. Without his regular and reliable work, it will be much more difficult to maintain the road even in its current condition.
The CMR Project will continue, but we will feel the absence of these people for quite some time.
